About me
Zaki Musa is a queer international sensation, originally from Singapore but now based in London.
They are an aerialist and pole dancer known for creating routines that embody what it means to be a queer spectacle, having a touch of fashion and tongue-in-chic playfulness, whilst being rooted in grace, strength and athleticism.
They have performed all over the world and are an associate circus artist at Jacksons Lane, frequent collaborator with POC cabaret collective The Cocoa Butter Club, and have performed at festivals and venues such as the Underbelly, Brighton Fringe, Wilderness, Stamptown at Edinburgh Fringe & Mighty Hoopla.
They have also been teaching aerial and pole for the past 12 years at Venus Pole London and also teaches on the degree course at the National Centre of Circus Arts, specializing in aerial pole and hoop.
Aside from that, they also have artistic practice looking at queer and non-white identity and censorship in the age of generative AI and the synthocene.
