Nina West is BI(coastal). And a consummate multi-hyphenate. The actor-singer-author-drag queen rose to international prominence on the 11th season of “RuPaul’s Drag Race.” Other notable credits include "Weird: The Al Yankovic Story" (Divine), “Dragging the Classics: The Brady Bunch” (Alice), “RuPaul’s Secret Celebrity Drag Race,” the recent “RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars 9,” and “Drag Me To Dinner.” She’s done voiceover work for Nickelodeon’s “Blue’s Clues” and “Baby Shark’s Big Show,” Bobby Moynihan’s “Loafy,” and most recently for Hulu’s “The Bravest Knight”. She has also appeared in the documentaries Lady Like and Kings, Queens, and In Betweens.
On stage, she starred as Edna Turnbald in the national tour of Broadway’s "Hairspray The Musical," and appeared as queen of the dark side herself, Emperor Palpatine, in "The Great Kamino Kaper" - a live reading of "Star Wars Episode II Attack of the Clones" at Dynasty Typewriter.
Nina has hosted events around the world. Of note: 74th Annual ACE Eddie Awards, Disney+ Pride Special, events at San Diego Comic-Con, and galas for SAGE and Bring Change to Mind, among others.
Her first children’s book, "The You Kind of Kind" was published in 2022 by PA Press.
Nina’s had three Billboard-charting EP’s: the critically acclaimed "Drag Is Magic," "John Goodman," and "The West Christmas Ever." She worked with comedy legend Bobby Moynihan on the single “Lisa Frankenstein” and SNL alum Taran Killan on the single “Buffy the Vampire Slayer.” 2024 saw the release of her latest music project, "The Very Queen."
Nina has performed with Kermit the Frog and The Muppets and that’s about as good as it gets.
