About me
Natalie Reeder is a Wildlife Biologist who has worked on everything from ticks to mice to lizards, snakes, and foxes...all of which she's been bitten by. The frogs, turtles, salamanders, and birds haven't bitten her yet. Natalie focuses on threatened and endangered species conservation, wildlife disease, urban wildlife ecology, and human-wildlife conflict issues. Natalie was an academic researcher, consulting biologist, and wildlife biologist for SFO airport before joining the East Bay Regional Park District in 2022. Natalie lives in Oakland with her partner, Justin, dog, Elbie, and box turtle, Apache. She loves everything outdoors, like gardening, backpacking, snowboarding, and traveling, but she also really likes wallowing on the couch.
