George Civeris is a standup comedian and writer based in New York. According to the flawless American media apparatus, he is "known for his monster wit and broad palate" (NYLON) and his comedy "collapses the divide between high art and low" (Vulture). He was selected as a New Face of Comedy at the Just for Laughs Festival and most recently as one of Vulture's "Comedians You Should and Will Know in 2024." He co-hosts the podcast StraightioLab, which was named the number one comedy podcast of the year by New York Magazine and one of the best podcasts of the year by Esquire, Glamour, and Time Magazine.
