About me
Eric Rubin´s oddball, live-looped, character driven musical comedy has appeared at SF Sketchfest '17, '18, '19, '20, '23, '24 Sac Comedy Festival, SF Fringe Festival, San Francisco Improv Festival, "Speechless Live", "Mortified", Ruckus and Rumpus Revival, Dragon Productions Theater, Pianofight, Bread and Roses, etc. He leaps seamlessly between characters and genres (i.e. salsa, pop, hip hop, country, etc.) keeping audiences on their toes.
He has performed with musical improv group the Freeze, and alongside Anthony Veneziale of "Freestyle Love Supreme", Ballroom Improv, and is a member of San Francisco's premiere sketch group "Killing my Lobster". He has performed and written for Dan Griffith's clown punk band Donut Goat and forms part of the comedy music duo Claptrap together with KML writer/director and operatic virtuoso, Meg Trowbridge.
