Gail Muldrow at age 14, showed great promise, becoming one of Sly Stone's top protégés. Sought after by many, Gail is rated as one of the funkiest rhythm guitarist in the business. She'd move on to record, tour, and share stages with Graham Central Station, Prince, Johnny Otis, and others. Gail met Dawn Silva at a Sly Stone recording session in Sausalito, California, and the rest is musical history. Today, Dawn and Gail make up two thirds of the dynamic female led Funk Band, The Brides Of Funkenstein.
On January 17th 2025, it gives us great pleasure to announce that Dawn Silva and Gail Muldrow will return to The Great American Music Hall as special guest artists for our 22nd SF SKETCHFEST! Another Porchlight premier storytelling series.
