About me
Alison Leiby is a writer and comedian in New York City. You've seen her writing if you've watched "The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel", "Life & Beth", or "Teenage Euthanasia". She previously worked in political late night, writing for shows like "The President Show", "The Opposition with Jordan Klepper", and Triumph the Insult Comic Dog, among other various (mostly human) hosts.
Her solo show "Oh God, A Show About Abortion" ran at the Cherry Lane Theater in New York in 2022 with two extensions and one visit from Anna Wintour. The show also appeared at comedy festivals around the country as well as a run at the Kennedy Center. Her podcast "Ruined" which she hosts with Halle Kiefer has been freaking out Alison and listeners since 2020 and was named one of Time's Best Podcasts of the Year in 2022. Her first book, an essay collection, will be available from Dial Press in 2026 if we're all still here.
