Adam Strauss is a comedian, writer and performer based in New York. The New York Times says The Mushroom Cure, Adam's true tale of treating his severe OCD with psychedelics, "mines a great deal of laughter from disabling pain", The Chicago Tribune calls it "arrestingly honest and howlingly funny", Michael Pollan calls it "brilliant, hilarious and moving" and Time Out New York named it a Critics' Pick. Adam won the New York Fringe Festival’s Overall Excellence Award for Solo Performance, The Eddy Award for Best Solo Show in San Francisco, and the Leffe Craft Your Character Storytelling Competition.
