Um, Actually is a trivia game show hosted by Ify Nwadiwe, wherein contestants are read false statements about their favorite pieces of nerdy pop culture, and they have to figure out what's wrong (but they only get the point if they precede their correction with the phrase "um, actually..."). Self Help Me is a competitive self-care comedy show hosted by comedian, writer and actor Jenny Yang. Every show features comedians, celebrities and wellness experts ready to test their knowledge of the latest wellness trends and reveal their own self-care obsessions. It’s like if "Lovett or Leave It" and "@midnight" made a baby that was obsessed with wellness and lymph node massages–but also cared about the cultures and origins of these splashy trends. Self-care already felt competitive. We just made our anxieties into a show. “What’s the point of self-care if you can’t win? The Sklar Brothers host this amazing line up of comedians. As each comedian performs the Sklars sit on stage and write “tags” (jokes that go on the ends of their jokes). Then after each comic finishes their set the Sklars join them on stage to pitch them the tags they’ve written in real time. It’s stand up comedy and then a peek behind the curtain of what happens in green rooms everywhere.
