The WorkJuice Improvisers are delighted to make their return to SF Sketchfest! The cast of perennial favorites from The Thrilling Adventure Hour will take to the stage, sans scripts, and improvise a show based on monologues by a special guest. The players have mesmerized audiences around the world and will bring their incredible wit and hilarity to San Francisco for one show only. This is long form improv at its best!

Comedian/Actress Dulcé Sloan was a correspondent on Comedy Central’s "The Daily Show with Trevor Noah" for six years (2017-2023). She currently continues on as a contributor and has taken over the main chair as guest host multiple times since the departure of Noah to critical acclaim. This year she was nominated for a GLAAD Award in the category "Outstanding Variety or Talk Show Episode" for her interview with Sasha Colby during one of those guest host runs. Also under this banner, she co-hosted the popular podcast "Hold Up" with Daily Show writer and fellow comedian Josh Johnson. On the podcast, the two co-workers turned their hilarious, unpredictable, and legendary office banter into a weekly war of words about topics big and small, but mostly small. In 2024, she won an Emmy for her work as a correspondent on the Daily Show. Dulcé’s memoir written in comedic essays "Hello, Friends! – Stories of Dating, Destiny, and Day Jobs" was released by Random House on 2/6/24. From a childhood moving between cities, starting her own business selling toys at a Miami flea market, to being a Black kid in a predominately white school, she’s always used her masterful wit to challenge the status quo. Have you ever dated an adult who roller skated, or went out with a mechanic just to get free auto service? Yup, she’s got that story for you. Her stories are both wildly entertaining and culturally resonant.
Her new Netflix set premiered on November 28th as part of their new standup series "Verified Stand Up" with The New York Times lauding “In less than 15 minutes, her set packs a wallop.” She can also be heard as part of the cast of FOX’s hit animated series "The Great North", currently in its 4th season, on which Sloan voices the character “Honeybee” alongside an ensemble of comedy heavyweights including Jenny Slate, Nick Offerman, Megan Mullally, Will Forte, and Paul Rust.
 
In 2023 Dulcé debuted as the host of The CW’s new comedy game show "The Great American Joke Off". In the series, Sloan hosts her fellow comics as they compete in coming up with hilarious set-ups for different punchlines or even using the texts on an audience member's phone as a springboard for jokes, all in a celebration of gags, wisecracks, one-liners and the art of joke telling.
 
Sloan recently appeared as a guest judge on the iconic long-running series "RuPaul’s Drag Race" and was a celebrity guest on CNN’s "New Year's Eve Live with Anderson Cooper & Andy Cohen". She is a regular guest on NPR’s popular "Wait Wait…Don’t Tell Me" and is a favorite on the talk show circuit with appearances on "Watch What Happens Live", "Late Night with Seth Meyers", and "Sherri", to name a few.
 
On the big screen, Dulcé starred in the action-comedy feature "Chick Fight" alongside Malin Akerman, Alec Baldwin, and Bella Thorne with The Hollywood Reporter declaring “Dulcé Sloan…not just steal(s) the movie but make(s) sure that no one else even comes close.” She graced the Fall 2020 cover of SLiNK Magazine where they crowned her “The New Queen of Comedy,” and Rolling Stone recently hailed her as one of the 10 Comedians You Need To Know, declaring “she speaks and they simply fall in line behind her.”

Her live comedy dating show, "Why Are You Single", has sold out to audiences in NYC and LA and she does warm up for John Oliver’s "Last Week Tonight". She has appeared on "Broad City", "Comedy Central Stand-Up", MTV’s "Girl Code", VH1, The BET Awards and TruTV. She co-hosted Viceland’s nightly variety show "Vice Live", as well as Oxygen’s "Very Real Talk". Marie was named a 2018 Comedian You Should Know by Vulture. She was also selected as one of Just For Laughs Montreal’s New Faces in 2017. Marie has performed at Comedy Central's Clusterfest and TBS’ New York Comedy Festival. Marie previously co-hosted the weekly podcast Peak 2000s and, before that, The Unofficial Expert (named #2 on Time Out’s list of “Best NYC Podcasts”) as well as the notable and long-running stand-up showcase Comedy at the Knit at The Knitting Factory in Brooklyn. She has also appeared on podcasts like Las Culturistas, Inside The Closet, Girls Gotta Eat and more. 

Originally from Houston, Kevin Iso began performing stand up across Texas before moving to New York. Kevin was named a New Face at Montreal’s Just For Laughs Festival in 2019. After being named one of Comedy Central’s Comics To Watch, Kevin’s stand-up was featured on AXS TV’s "Gotham Comedy Live" and Comedy Central’s "Adam Devine’s House Party". He can also be seen in "High Fidelity" on Hulu and "This Week at the Cellar" on Comedy Central. In 2020, Iso was a staff writer for "That Damn Michael Che" on HBOMax. Kevin co-created, wrote and stars in the series "Flatbush Misdemeanors", which currently airs Sunday nights on Showtime.

Host Zach Sherwin (“Crazy Ex-Girlfriend,” “Epic Rap Battles of History") presides as a comedian guest panel solves an actual crossword puzzle live onstage, with everything displayed on a big screen so the audience can follow along. Joel Kim Booster is a Chicago-bred, Los Angeles-based stand-up comedian, writer, and actor who was named one of the TIME100 Next 2022 as an emerging advocate and creative and a Variety Screenwriter to Watch (2022). Joel has also been recognized as one of The Queer Young Comics Redefining American Humor by the New York Times. Joel starred in the Searchlight Pictures rom-com "Fire Island", which won the 2023 Dorian Award for Best TV movie and was called an "instant classic" by the AV Club. The GLAAD Award winning film, which he also wrote, was released on Hulu in June 2022 and received a Film Independent Spirit Award nomination for Best First Screenplay and two Emmy nominations for his writing and best Outstanding Television movie in 2023. His first hour-long comedy special for Netflix, called "Psychosexual", was nominated for a Critics Choice Award and named one of the best comedy specials of 2022 by Variety. In his special, Joel explores his experiences and observaTIons as a gay Asian American male with commentary on identity, sexuality, cultural expectations, and more. Joel currently stars on the Apple TV+ series "Loot" playing Nicholas, Maya Rudolph’s quirky assistant. The series was created by Alan Yang and Mat Hubbard and will have its season 2 premiere later this year. Other TV and Film credits include "Sunnyside" (NBC), "Curb Your Enthusiasm" (HBO), "Shrill" (Hulu), "Search Party" (TBS), "BoJack Horseman", "Big Mouth", "The Week Of" (Netflix), & "American Dad" (Fox).
